Pan-Africanism, the philosophy that peoples of African descent have common interests and should be unified. Historically, Pan-Africanism has often taken the form of political action or social movement.
Pan-Africanists envision a unified African continent where all people of the African diaspora can live.
We believe that “African people, both on the continent and within the diaspora, share not merely a standard history, but a shared destiny.”
